Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson is a talented American actor who has performed as a singer, writer producer, director, and writer. She was best known as Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She has also produced, directed and starred her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she was a part of Kiss the Bride. Benson was born January 8 1977, in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle Benson is her sibling and an artist of distinction. Her father is Jewish while her mother was born and raised in the state of Alabama. Southern Baptist Benson grew up at the Reform synagogue located in Alabama. Since Buffy was cancelled, Benson has been in movies like The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series. Behind the camera she utilized her writing talents to work on The Ghosts of Albion series and was the director on shows like the 2010's Drones. Buffy, after spending an effort and time to find them, says there are over 1800 Slayers around the world, including 500 who are part of their organization, the Scooby Gang. They are now able to awaken as Slayers as they mature to a suitable level like the Slayer Soledad was awakened at the age of 16. Ruth Connell plays Rowena, in the Supernatural Season 10 She is apparently an old-fashioned, mysterious Witch.
