Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical show. She was raised in Wayne, in a conservative Jewish tradition. As a teenager, 18, she emigrated into New York City to study at Tisch School of the Arts. She was very active in the clubs in New York City and did enough to get heard by the media. While doing so, she was becoming more conscious of AIDS and its devastating impacts. She utilised both her musical training and fame to make and appear in a brand new musical called Positive Me. The first time she was hired, she got her first position on MTV as host of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. After it was taken off air, she began appearing in TV and films, initially in short roles before establishing herself as an actor.
