Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28 1997) was an American actor and a singer. She began her acting career when she was just a teen. She is most known for her role as Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders and also as Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised at Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble, who worked as a cashier, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. Her family has given her three brothers. When she was young She sang in nightclubs, and then went on to perform. The actress studied acting since when she was 13 years old at Wooster School, then studied the art of drama at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts along with renowned instructor Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer was an American actor, model and singer. Born in Brookfield Connecticut on the 28th of April, she was raised there. Kari was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, on the 28th of April, 1967. Kari is the youngest of three children. In her teens was a nightclub singer, she would sing while slipping out to do a show. Kari at the time was thirteen years old, was enrolled at the Wooster School and Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She was also a student in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she had a teacher known for her work as Uta. Kari started acting when she was in her teens, her first break on television coming in 1987's MTV Remote Control.
